CHUM Hospital
The new CHUM will be one of the largest hospitals in North America. It will bring together teams and patients from the Hôtel-Dieu, the Notre-Dame Hospital and the Saint-Luc Hospital under one roof.
After the transfer to the new CHUM, Notre-Dame Hospital will remain open and will offer local, first and second-line care. The Saint-Luc Hospital will be demolished to make way for the construction of Phase 3 of the new hospital. Finally, the Department of Health and Social Services (MSSS) plans to set up a hub at Hôtel-Dieu, which will house a superclinic, the Université de Montréal's School of Public Health and other organizations.
